frequently asked questions

Where are your classes held?

I hold classes at various locations along the East Sussex & Kent boarder. I currently run regular yoga sessions in Hawkhurst, but am happy to run group or private sessions at other locations.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, please ALWAYS book in advance. You can do this online, by phone or by email. Class sizes are limited therefore booking is essential.

What if I need to cancel a booking?

I need a minimum 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel a class booking.  This allows me time to offer the space to someone else. Therefore if you cancel within 24 hours of your class you may still be charged for that class.

How can I pay?

Classes can be paid by card or by using cash.

Are there any age restrictions?

My yoga classes are suitable for anyone over the age of 16. You are never to old to start practicing yoga!

What do I need to wear?

Typical fitness clothing that you are comfortable in. Bare feet are best to stop you slipping on the yoga mat.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Ideally a yoga mat, although I do have a few that can be borrowed if needed. I have props, blankets, bolsters and blocks for you to use in classes. If you practice Iyengar yoga regularly I do recommend that you have your own mat and props so that you can practice at home.

When should I arrive?

Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes before the advertised class time so you have time to get ready.

I have an injury. can I still attend a class?

Yoga can help restore flxibility and strength after an injury but you must check with your health professional in advance to confirm that you are fit enough to practice. Please also tell me about your condition before attending a class.
